Other reviewers must have been a unlucky, I've hade no problems after about a month of using this. The screen can be arkward but not as bad as most smart phones. Ironically I'm typing review on a Nexus and finding harder work then when I use the Scroll! Maximum Ive had is 4hrs, average is 3hrs usage with brightness set abuout 1/3. At £50 I think this is a nice device to carry about, there's plenty of places (in London at least) with free WiFi. If you have a tablet or netbook it's worth getting a 'MiFi' type device, mine gives me 10gig for £15 a month, who needs broard band! 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful

The "Scroll micro" did not work correctly so I sent it back, it kept stopping and going into rest mode. it might have been a faulty unit but I was not willing to risk it, so I asked for my money back.OK. sorry .. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful

First of all, if you want a smart phone, buy one. This is very much a computer and not a phone. For me, its clinching feature is that I can load all the apps I use on other tablets for sophisticated art work on to this and share the resulting files. As an artist, this is my priority, and I can now have a permanent sketchbook with me at all times. the same applies to paint and photo editing programmes, along with the ability to save on an external disc. The little machine also works a treat. For an artist, a godsend. For a chatterer/texter/gamer, maybe not.

4.0 out of 5 stars I loved it! until I found a big niggle, 25 Dec 2012

Yes, this has the small niggles that have been mentioned before - on/off button hard to find and menu bar icons sometimes tricky to click - but this has great plus points too. The rest of the screen is perfectly responsive, it has a good enough picture and good sound quality. It comes pre-loaded with all the expected apps, including google play which seems to be a late addition and puts the whole app world at your feet.
Stating the obvious, this isn't worth having if you have a smartphone (in my opinion), but if like me you can't afford to run one of those, this is a brilliant alternative.
Update 3 days in... You can't use this on a flat surface! The screen is TOTALLY unresposive if the tablet is laid on a table or similar flat surface. I assume there is a perfectly complicated reason for this, and whilst not a show-stopper is very annoying! It really does seem to be how much of the back of the tablet is touching a given surface; table/laptop cover - no chance, fine fabric on sofa - quite crappy, cheap carpet - getting better but still grrr, dashboard/jeans/palm of hand - fine (as actually very little contact is made with these).
I'm not going to send it back as the palm of my hand is where I use it most. However, if playing Angry Birds on a flat surface is your bag, you're going to need to invest in a box of matches and use two to raise it up off that surface so you don't fail to even get past the title screen!

Great little product for the money, loads up quickly, browser good and can get all the latest apps via the play store. Battery life is good and charges quickly. Only niggle is the buttons in the corners of the screen are hard to press due to the size of the screen and its bevelled edge. Sound quality fine, not bought as a hifi and have an ipod for music! However cant fault product for its price, slightly bigger than a touch screen phone and if like me dont want to load laptop up everytime i want to check facebook or twitter or internet cant fault it!
I also got given the case for it but becuase the leather is quite thick, it is difficult to use the scroll when it is in it, but looks very smart when closed up and protects the screen and gadget well.

First and most importantly small fingers are a must! The Scroll pocket is a 4.3 inch MID (Mobile Internet Device) or tablet to most people, although it is hard to describe a 4 inch unit as a tablet.
If you have ever own or used or even played with a tablet of any size then the Scroll pocket will hold no surprises. This is a very good fully functional Android tablet is a small package. It's 4gb of storage and 1ghz processor make it more that capably of handling most tasks you can throw at it. 3D games is a little bit beyond it but other than that you should have no problems.
The unit comes with Main changer, USB leads for connection to your PC or Laptop earphones and a basic manual to get you up and running.
All round a very good well built unit small pocket size and affordable.
The above review was based on the first two days of use... one week on and I would have never given this item 4 stars, may be 1 or 2 but never 4.
The wifi is a joke within a week it fails to connect to anyone or any thing, the music side went haywire listing the same track 5&6 times when there was only one copy on the unit... and even continued to show tracks being there after they were removed from the tablet..
The long and short of it is I have returned the tablet for a full refund...NOT fit for Propose.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy on the pocket, 26 Nov 2012

Fast responsive multitouch screen. Resolution crisp at this size. Despite small form easy to type on (screen bigger than iPhone's).
Fast wifi network recognition. Camera. Micro ad card slot. These are all really nice extras I didn't expect. No GPS is the only missing feature which I wouldn't expect at all.
Access via the Play marketplace so you can install any app via the tablet or remotely from another computer
Really impressed for the budget.
