The TV arrived Ok, worked for a while but now the DVD will not play back any audio, Amazon only allow returns upto 28 days, have spoken to Toshiba and they say Amazon own the guarantee and they should replace

Sound very good and DVD part easy to use. No complaints. The colour is good and the sound fine.. good buy.

Got this TV after seeing it on display in Tesco where I thought it looked fantastic.The main selling point was the fantastic viewing angles.When I read the descriptions online,Tesco's,Argos,Amazon and even Toshiba stated 178/178 viewing angles.I set it up on boxing day for my 5yr old daughter and found that if you were sitting a little bit lower than the screen it started to go like a negative.So I sent it back for a replacement which was the same.I spoke to Toshiba's tech team,who told me that it was normal.When confronted with the experience I had in Tesco and the great viewing angles he spun me a load of crap.Don't buy this TV unless you are going to sit directly in front of it.Very unhappy.

Very pleased with this tv Still getting used to it as haven't used it much since I got it
Colour & sound perfect -- I still need to check on picture size but overall I am very happy with this product

I purchased one of these over Christmas to replace the TV we had in the kitchen. There was no need to replace, but we wanted a combi DVD set-up and also get rid of the freeview box as this one has freeview built in.

We returned the set after a day as the sound and picture quality was very poor in our opinion. The old set was not a recognised brand, so I expected this to be better seeing as it is a Toshiba.

Happy with the tv, easy to install, instruction required little more detailed information but in the end I solved the problem with the workings of the DVD.

TV is fantastic, great quality picture, easy to set up - my son couldn't be more thrilled with his Christmas present. Unfortunately I was significantly less than thrilled with the hassle I had to get the thing. I ordered in plenty of time for Christmas, at the end of November, but the courier - Yodel - "lost" the parcel and I had to spend hours on the phone to Amazon trying and failing to find a satisfactory resolution before buying the TV from Argos.

After spending some 4 hours trying to set up and tune, this TV would only resolve two stations. I of course thought this was due to my antenne or amplifier. After contacting Toshiba customer care it was decided the set was faulty with a less than sensitive tuner. (Toshiba were very helpful & Apologic but the problem was un resolvable.) Set returnen to Amazon as not fit for purpose.
Replaced with DGM TV ( Below) Excellent n0 problems.

The product arrived next day as promised and was very easy to set up - even for me! Just had to assemble the stand (not hard) and then plug in and the rest took care of itself, with just a couple of clicks of the OK button, the set up and tuning in of all channels etc took next to no time and it was all systems go. The picture quality is extremely good, both clear and sharp and great colour. The sound is not as good, as per several reviews I read before buying, due to the speakers on this slimline TV not being huge and therefore are limited but having said that, it makes for a perfectly adequate bedroom TV, which I never have that loud anyway, so suited me perfectly well. All in all, am very satisfied with my purchase - a good product.
