When using this product it is great.The problem is getting to use it! Ordered 2 of these as gifts. Had to return one after 3 days as it would not "boot" up. The other one has a battery life of less than 1 hour!!! 1.0 out of 5 stars Dont buy these, 10 Jan 2013

I brought 3 of these disgo tablets for my children for christmas and have recently returned all of them. My children now have to go without and wait for a full refund to come through before we can replae them. On one of them the top half of the screen was stiff and unresponsive. Another one refused to charge after using it for just a few days and then the last one was losing charge within an hour of it being fully charged. I accept that you can have problems with the odd product but not all 3 within the same wk. There has to be better tablets out there for the same money. Not sure which ones to buy now, have been recommended a galaxy tab and a kindle fire but have to wait for the refund first and then try and change all the accessories that we have brougt to go with these awful, waiste of money and upsetting for children Disgo tablets. Bought this on the strength of some good reviews but mine would not connect to wi-fi nor would it search for any wi-fi, after contacting disgo technical support they said it was a faulty unit and to return it. The Overal quality of the tablet wasnt too bad but be honest it did look a bit cheap. In general the tablet may well be pretty good for others but mine definately was not. Ended up paying a bit more (£50) for a more well known brand, Samsung tab2 10.1, which works brilliantly. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

This is an excellent device if you use it correctly.I currently have BBC Iplayer , Flash Video and Google play apps store all working perfectly .
Firstly , there is a hack available to allow this device to connect to play store.
It works a treat. A quick google of disgo 9104 play store will take you the file.
It took me around 10 mins to do this.
Secondly , download Skyfire Browser and BBC Media Player from Playstore and you can then watch BBC Iplayer and any flash video. You launch BBC media player and this launches the iplayer. Skyfire browser allows you to view flash video .
Last of all , download Clean Master from Playstore. I run this a few times a day after using a few apps. It will free up the ram that the apps were using. Takes about 30 seconds to clean. Works very very well. This is a MUST.
I got this for my daughter and she loves it.
Rear camera is a little limited but works very well in a well light lit room.
Webcam works perfectly with skype.
This device needs the hack mentioned above to get BBC Iplayer and Playstore.
Transfered some MP4 video files from a pc and they work perfectly. Not tried avi files yet.
I can't believe that im going to say this but this tablet is just as good as an ipad.
I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase.
I would highly recommend it .
Remember though , if you want Google Play store , BBC Iplayer and flash video you will need to hack it as described.

I picked one of these up (not through Amazon) as I felt the need to join the tablet owning masses with a view to a bit of browsing and watching a bit of catch up TV or films whilst doing other things (ie playing Total War) on my laptop. Whilst it is undeniably well put together in terms of the feel of it in your hand and the overall look, trying to get it to perform even remotely competently was a struggle (and I am far from a techno-novice).The lag between touching the screen and the Disgo responding was deeply irritating but the killer for me was the inability of my tablet to play more than about 30 seconds of something on Netflix before freezing (and Netflix is in the Disgo store right up front so I sort of expected it to work). Patently I had a faulty unit but my confidence in the brand was destroyed. I took it back where I bought it from and the nice assistant allowed me to return it without a quibble and switch to a Nexus 7, with which I am deeply impressed: not as potentially good as the Disgo on some fronts (can't expand the memory, smaller screen etc) but its wifi range is far superior and it is very very slick in operation indeed. More to the point it works. I dare say if I had had a fully functioning Disgo out of the box this review would be very different indeed.

Disgo DISTAB9104R 9104 9.7 inch Capacitive Touch Screen Tablet (Boxchip Cortex A8 ARM 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM, 16GB Memory, Android 4.0)This, is quite possibly, the BEST item, that I have purchased this year ! I myself purchased an Apple i.pad this year and paid the princely sum of £500 "smackers" for it !
I needed to buy my son, a "birthday gift", and thought, hey! maybe he would like a "tablet" as well ? and allthough I love him to bits, I'm not sure if I love him £500 "smackers" worth ? So started searching for alternatives ! Lo and behold, I came upon this item, and allthough it seems to be "too good to be true", on this occasion, it actually delivers !
So, if you need a "tablet" and your not going to use it, for "working out the telemetry, of an asteroids flight path", this is definately, the one to buy !!! and use the change, to go towards an holiday !

I must say I'm pleasantly suprised with my purchase. Purchased for my wife as I didn't wish to spend a great deal for her first tablet I am suprised that the overall quality is astounding - both the performance and build quality.I was able to get the app store installed on this device really easily and it makes it one sweet device - the battery also just seems to last forever.
Inserting a 32GB micro-SD card I was able to put plenty of movies on the device and quite frankly - the playback quality (through MX Player) is astonishingly good. The screen quality really makes the movie jump out of the screen.
I would recommend this tablet to anyone whether on a budget or not.

This tablet is excellent, I have one of the 'New' Ipads and needed a simple to use tablet for my dad. To be honest was a little nervous going for this one but it exceeded my expectations. I liked it so much i ended taking it with me when i went traveling. It does everything you'd expect and more, runs all the applications fast and cleanly. Great Screen resolution, essentially does everything 96% of people want from an ipad but at a much lower cost. All the apps i use daily on the Ipad were on the android store. Can't say enough good things about it! Went far beyond my expectations. What Other Items Do Customers Buy After Viewing This Item?
