A fantastic Box. Shoul have got it earlier. NO MORE SKY RIP OFF. Why seven more words, I've said it all. 4.0 out of 5 stars Very good first impression, 14 Jan 2013

After thrashing about for weeks in a very confusing marketplace I finally plunged in and plumped for this macine (the 120) to replace my previous Panasonic analogue machine that had served well.First impressions are very good - what most others say about the ease of use for simple recording is absolutely right and I'm delighted with it.
It doesn't get 5 stars from me for these reasons:
The instruction manual is useless - confusing and unhelpful -e.g. what is the sense of telling someone with little or no technical knowledge to 'select the appropriate AV setting for your TV' ?
That said, I managed to set the machine up intuitively using my smattering of know how from previous machines and knowledge gained from 3 years using my tv.
Also the lack of wi fi on the 120 model is a nuisance - to access the internet and network capabilities of the machine you have to plug it in directly to your router - impossible in my house - or buy a pair of 'Homeplug' gizmos for 30 quid that allow you to plug the router and the recorder in to your homes electric ring main and connect them that way.

I have had it a few weeks now and everything seems to be working ok. Programming and playback does not seem to be as straightforward as some of the machines I have had but picture quality is excellent. 5.0 out of 5 stars Replacement box, 13 Jan 2013

Had this unit for about 3 weeks now and still finding my way around it! Brought it to replace a Sharp recorder which used to freeze out sometimes.Works exactly as expected, the HD signal works well with our HD ready LG TV and there is a definate improvement in picture quality etc The unit started up easily and sorted it's self out without any fuss. The programme display is a bit faint compared witht the Sharp model but nothing too much to worry about, still getting use to all the options and functions. The sister in law came for Xmas and was so impressed she brought one as well! 4.0 out of 5 stars Good product, some lag on live pause and rewind, 11 Jan 2013

Generally happy with it, DLNA and net features were easy to set up, as well as standard tv tuning. Lags when pausing live tv for about 3 seconds and browsing through the guide of recorded items can sometimes be slow. 2.0 out of 5 stars Poor information, 10 Jan 2013
