Well after seeing a friends 3d tv which was amazing we decided to get one and to be homest very dissapointing the 3D, the rest of the tv is great but the 3D is nothing at all like the 3D u would get at the cinema, its more like a blurry image that gives you headaches 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality for the price, 14 Jan 2013

Does everything I expect of it so far with no issues as yet (touch wood). Used it so far with 360, PS3, USB, blu ray, 3D gaming and movies with no issues. Even playing 3D films acquired elsewhere it works fine, even through the USB.Little or no motion blur noticed, sound quality is fine. Haven't tried the network features yet but will be soon.
My eldest daughter, 5 years old, loves the 3D films, she uses the glasses she got from the cinema and they work fine as they are real3d based.
Overall very impressed with it.

Couldn't wish for anything better for the price. superb pop out effect with 3D movies and works great as a monitor too. Other monitors/tv's have the 3D depth but nothing like the excellent pop out effects on the baby. Highly recommended if you want real 3D that seems like it's coming out of the tv. 1 of 2 people found the following review helpful
3.0 out of 5 stars Great for pictures supplied by HDMI but poor for pictures via VHF/UHF RF input, 6 Jan 2013

Installed upstairs and initially plugged into VHF/UHF RF source coming from Sky HD box downstairs, picture was ok but faces suffered from excessive blurring especially around the lips and eyes when people spoke or blinked. Tried numerous settings but nothing seemed to work. Strangely fast moving scenes like car chases were fine, just faces were getting considerably blurred continuously. Have now ran an HDMI cable between the TV and Sky box and the pictures are great. (**Note: Tried 3 other LCD TV's plugged into RF source and all showed pictures fine**)Watching 3D films via player or on Sky 3D gives superb picture definition and colours. Best TV pictures I've seen, better than cinema. The built in 2D to 3D conversion also gives reasonably good results with some programs better than others. 2D to 3D can either be almost like watching true 3D or at worst like just watching in normal 2D.
Sound is poor with speakers/TV vibrating at reasonably low sound levels, which lets the TV down and LG should improve this to match up with the picture and 3D capabilities. I plugged the headset output into my stereo and let that handle the sound. Not perfect but better than using built in speakers and good enough for me.
Network works well with streaming videos to TV over Ethernet from media server.
For info it has the following inputs:
RF (UHF/VHF) Aerial
Ethernet (DLNA)
3x HDMI
15pin PC Monitor D-type connector and 3.5mm jack audio input.
1x SCART
AV Inputs - 1x Video (yellow) and 2x Audio (Red & White)
Component Inputs - RBG + 2x Audio
USB port

3D: I bought the this TV for the 3d capability of the set. i have to say i was impressed...well not completely. the passive 3d is good but you need to sit right in-front of the telly or at a certain angle to have 3d. also since it is a 720p tv playing games like call of duty and such was okay but not great. what i am saying is this is not a bad tv but 3d is not GREAT on it. if you are going to buy this TV buy it for the fact that it is a hdtv, and think of the 3d as more of an add-on.besides, after watching 3d for about half an hour you forget that it is even 3d!speakers: what people are saying about the speakers is just not true. i am still confused by what the problem is with them? i mean they aren't a revolution in speakers by any standard. they do not have much base but it is loud and clear enough to watch a movie or play a game on it.
2d - 3d: 2d to 3d is actually okay. you will not get 3d that is coming out of the tv or anything, but it is...meh. even so 90 percent of what i have watched on this 3dtv is not pop out 3d but more like you are looking into the tv.
dual play: dual play is pretty mediocre really. it works but it does not filter out most of the other players image, leaving you sometimes confused to what screen you are supposed to focus on.
conclusion: i would give it a 7/10. it is an average tv. i went to buy this with high expectations and was presented with.... average. not impressed but not dissapointed.

Excellent television cannot fault anything, (although speakers could be better) didn't buy it for the 3D but this was an added bonus with the three 3D programs on over Christmas. Can't wait for more 3D to come on T.V. Definitely recommend this product. What Other Items Do Customers Buy After Viewing This Item?
