It does what it says on the tin,it gives me a lot more leeway to move around the room more.

Works fine I use it to link a PC to an LG TV it works just fine with good image and sound quality at a budget price.

Yes this is very good value at 14 quid for a 7.62m (25ft) HDMI cable, as it does work fine for any tasks you'd want an HDMI with Ethernet cable for. However...

I ended-up returning it, as it's just much too bulky (it's gauge is 10mm - yes, I kid you not **1 CENTIMETRE** thick!!), and weighs a ton! As it's made of a heavy rubber outer casing, this makes the cable far too cumbersome if it's being moved around a bit. And forget about hiding it under carpet or near skirting boards; it's highly likely to be viewable &/or in your way.

As a guide, most HDMI Ethernet cables are typically only 5 to 7 mm thick, with less shielding needed.
HDMI Ethernet cables over 5m generally need to be high quality with decent shielding to carry the signal the distance, hence why this is much bulkier than the other shorter AmazonBasics ones I have that are 1 to 3m in length.

However, I ended up going for one of similar length that was a bit more expensive but managed to be as thin as the shorter ones, and didn't weigh a ton. And it worked just as well, so the shielding issue can be achieved in thinner cables than this.

So it's clear here, that with long HDMI cables, one really does need to pay a little more for less heavy/bulky cabling. Unless Amazon improve this in the future, of course! ;-)

I wanted to connect my laptop to my TV while being able to use the laptop away from the TV sothat I didn't have to get up every time that I wanted to pause or choose something else to watch. This enables me to do that with plenty of length left over. Well worth the price, sturdy and reliable, wouldn't expect any less from amazon.

It does what it says its supposed to do. The length is perfect although the cable is very thick! Good buy though.

It amazes me the quality of Amazons audio/visual cables at the price they charge. With so many options available at these prices you are able to experiment with your equipment before upgrading, if necessary.

lots of people have suggested that 25 feet is too long for an HDMI cable but this amazon basics one works perfectly and additionally with the ARC return sound going back to the receiver and playing in perfect sync with no visible delay - great value and perfect performance....
