I purchased this product, and all seems well with it. I agree the cables for the speakers could be longer, but it was easy to set up and the sound and picture quality is reasonably good. I have not explored the wireless options yet, as the TV is too distant from our wireless set up. One of these days I look forward to having a remote control which is less complicated.

Unit arrived on the day promised.
Exellent sound quality with a rich bass note which is adjustable via the remote.
Fm channels stored easily but I have still not found any help in the instuctions to re-call them so I'm still manually searching for the station at present.Volume is controlled via the HDMI lead with the Tv remote or directly with it's own.
3d playback is superb & has a fast load time.

Had problems with the seller over VAT refund but they were quick to sort it out, even emailing me on New Year's Eve (above & beyond customer care). The sound is crisp with the 1000watt speakers and couldn't ask for a better picture either.
* The only problem is that this player is NOT wifi ready but capable - a further purchase of a wireless card from the manufacture is required at ££££££ ! * - As this was one of the prime reason for purchase I feel that this should've been explained more in the specifications.

This is a great machine, easy to install even for a pensioner like me. It connected well with my router which is upstairs and quite a way from the machine, giving me access to the internet on my television. The quality of picture from a bluray or 3D film is excellent and the surround sound system is the best I have ever had. All in I would thoroughly recommend this item as good value for money.

I recently bought a Samsung 3D TV and wanted to yet further enhance the viewing experience with a good surround system. This item is great quality and value and works smartly with my TV. It upscales DVD's, plays blu-rays and, of course, 3D blu-rays too. I have connected it to a router for full smart-hub capability. I have also installed the optional receiver to make the rear speakers wireless. A superb system; sounds full, rich and enough bass without being booming.

Amazing quality! Sounds brilliant! So pleased that I got it. I just wish that I had gotten it sooner. I would soo recommend this to anyone. I love how I can connect my data storage unit to it via USB port and play my music and movies.

had ummed and arred about surround sound for a while, reading several reviews and opted for this Samsung system, brilliant, sound quality better than we had imagined, picture quality superb, all speakers pre wired so easy to install, rear speakers about 10foot of wire so bear this in mind, not wireless as stated but easy to wire an ethernet cable fron your router, all in all a great product

I bought this (via my girlfriend) as my Xmas present and overall I'm really impressed with the product. I'm into my technology but am certainly no expert. The sound is very good and it can be very loud, easily enough for the home. There are some great quirks; the system switches off when you turn off your tv, so you don't need to find different remotes each time. It switches on when you turn on the TV, it just makes life that bit easier. The system automatically 'synced' with my LG Smart TV and Sky box so I can use both of those remotes with the system, without having to programme anything. The speaker wires are very long and enabled me to put them under the carpet and onto the back wall.

A couple of minor problems that I did experience prevent this being 5 stars. The speaker wires have a connector on the end as opposed to being exposed wire (which I thought it would be). Whilst this makes it fairly simple to plug the wires into the back of the system, it does make it difficult to extend the wire (or push through various obstructions when installing on a wall!). I don't know how to take off the connector so would prefer the usual open wires but I imagine it's not hard for any with some know how.

I could not connect to the internet wirelessly. It states in the manual you need an ethernet cable or a dongle.

In terms of the actual system itself, the menus are easy to navigate and it's very simple to set up. The settings are easy to amend and I'm extremely happy with the quality. The 'Smart' options aren't great, but I have limited experience in this field. I have an LG Smart TV which is fantastic, the apps load quickly and the internet is very responsive. The Samsung system is a little bit cumbersome in comparison.

On the whole, I'm very happy with the purchase and am glad I bought this.
