I purchased this as a gift for a relative. I selected based on a recommendation by a colleague and the apparent good value, as I am not myself very knowledgable about these products. He was delighted with the product and impressed by the amount of features and quality at such a good price. I will be giving this as a christmas gift to at least 2 others this Christmas 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful

I got the TrekStore SurfTab 7" in France at a discount for 69 Euro but even at £69 it's a bargain. For comparison I also have a more expensive big name 7" tablet and an Android smartphone. There are some disadvantages over a more expensive tablet/phone:
1) There is no GPS so it can't be used for in-car navigation.
2) There is no bluetooth, so it can't link wirelessly to your car stereo.
3) The screen is "only" 800 x 480 pixels (but otherwise excellent).
There are also some advantages over my older android devices:
1) Runs Android 4.0.4 with OTG USB allowing external keyboard, memory stick or even a hard disk.
2) Alternative charging socket to allow charging if the USB socket is used for the above.
Otherwise there is very little difference with the more expensive devices. It has a plastic case, but does not look or feel at all cheap. It appears to use standard Android ICS, and includes PlayStore with access to all the usual applications including Kindle. The capacitive touch screen is excellent, and the WiFi range is great. The battery life seems just as good and it comes with a charger and USB cables. No problem streaming video from my PC via WiFi with ES File Explorer and MX Player; the speaker is certainly not HiFi, there is a headphone socket, but no HDMI of course. YouTube, Gmail, Maps, Browser, and all the usual Angry Bird games etc work well.
I bought it for a grandchild, but could well imagine using it myself.
