Absolutely dreadful, I ordered this for my daughter for Christmas, we charged it up before using but within 5 minutes it had frozen. Several reboots and resets later (including restoring the factory settings) it had unfrozen but the screen display was flipped into negative. Sent this one back and received a replacement tablet a few days later - which wouldn't even power up despite being fully charged! Now I know you get what you pay for however we had researched the purchase thoroughly before buying and seen good reviews, so either I've been very unlucky with two defective tablets or these are not all they are cracked up to be. Very disappointed - I only gave this one star because there is no option to give it none!

I bought the above item as an xmas gift for myself expected it to work BBC iplayer or any other internet tv service but it doesnt!! ok My 0ne did come with android 4.0 but that was useless as archos dont actually allow you to use the full android market, All I kept getting on trying to use the internet other then just utube is an error message and it just kept crushing on me !! Now maybe mine was just faulty but after reading lots of forums on the matter I dont believe it was. Needless to say I have returned my back to Amazon and wont go near Archos ever again!! On the matter of Amazon Uk the customer service online chat help is useless as I waited over 10 mins for a reply of someone!! Now come on Amazon sort this out and dont go tell me Im connected to someone to help me when clearly Im not as if that was the case why did I have to wait over 10 mins for an answer about how I needed to return an item? Im not a happy bunny.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little tablet!, 1 July 2012

Really only wanted an e-reader but since prices were much the same, went for this instead. This was at the lower end of the price scale of tablets. Never had an android device before so wasn't sure what to expect. Was assured that it would access Kindle which was what I wanted.

There's a workaround available for accessing Android Market which involved downloading and installing some files - very easily done and you get the full range of Android apps.

Tablet itself is small and light enough to carry around in my bag. The picture quality on the screen is great. Plays my divx movies no problem and the sound is grand. The battery life isn't too bad. It has several"home" screens so you can organise the widgets into groups.

There's is only one camera on this and it's on the front. Great for Skype or video chat but not for taking snaps. Has an onboard 8GB memory which is plenty but easily expandable with a micro SD card. Very easy to transfer files from pc to device via USB. It's possible to connect USB devices like a portable drive or keyboard to the tablet with a micro OTG cable. I have also connected my 3 mobile internet dongle and got internet.

All in all, it's a functional little tablet with plenty to offer.

What it does this machine does well. But the Appslib is seriously deficient. Although it has a built in videocam it is not possible to use skype video. It is extremely difficult to download Google Play apps and I was quite unable to download Kindle software either from Amazon or from Google Play. The keyboard does have a nasty habit of reverting to the desktop for no apparent reason. I would not buy it again

I looked at all the reviews for tablets around the £100 mark and eventually plumped for the the archos arnova 7. I was quite apprehensive having read some of the reviews but I can honestly say that I have been blown away by how great this tablet is, it has a good memory, fast processor and the touch screen is fantastic. I have even dropped it down the stairs by mistake and it still works absolutely fine. Android market doesn't come with it but there is an easy download to get it if you Google: 'archos arnova android market'. This tablet has a miles better spec than the natpc one that seems to sell by the bucket load on Amazon. only thing is the price seems to have gone up recently I got mine for less than £100

The product description states that it is 3g compatible. I would like to mention that this model is not 36 compatible. 7g c2 is the version which is 3g compatible
